Arkham Asylum is location in Batman Forever and its sequel, Batman & Robin. It is a facility where the criminally insane of Gotham City were interred.

Exterior/Interior[]
It is shown in Batman & Robin that the exterior of the building is a giant castle-like structure with stone pillar keeping the building stable, orange windows and two additional small towers, it is built on an island and under the asylum is a large body of water that the inmates jump to escape.
The interior is that of a hallway with guards standing on each side and stone walls, Mr Freeze's cell has a bed, sink, 4 lights and a cold beam, there is also a room where items from villains are collected, such as Riddler's and Two-Face's costumes and Mr Freeze's suit.
In Batman Forever, the walls are padded.

Mr Freeze is sent there in a refrigerator to keep him cold, Poison Ivy later breaks him out of the asylum and jump out of Arkham and into the water below, after they are both defeated, Mr Freeze becomes Poison Ivy's new cellmate with intent to make her life miserable for trying to kill his wife.
