Augustus Gloop is a minor antagonist in Tim Burton's 2005 film Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. He is a greedy fat kid from Germany and one of the Golden Ticket finders. Augustus and his mother were granted access into Willy Wonka's candy factory.
He is portrayed by Philip Wiegratz.

Augustus is an obese boy with red hair, blue eyes, and light skin. Though he is overweight than the other children, he has the same build as his mother. His outfit consists of a red and white striped long sleeve turtle neck shirt, dark blue jean shorts, black socks, red and white sneakers.
Role in the film[]
Augustus lives in Germany and finds the golden ticket by accidentally eating a bit of it. He then takes a tour of the factory and is sucked up by a pipe after falling into Willy Wonka’s chocolate river. He then leaves with his mother, covered in chocolate, back to Germany.
