Christopher Allen Lloyd is an American actor, who is best known for portraying Dr. Emmett "Doc" Brown in the Back to the Future franchise (a role he also reprised outside the project, including on the ABC talk show Jimmy Kimmel Live!), Uncle Fester in the 1991 black comedy film The Addams Family and its 1993 sequel, and "Reverend" Jim Ignatowski in the ABC/NBC sitcom Taxi (1978–1983).
He portrays Professor Orloff in the second season of the Netflix series Wednesday.
