The Crone is a supporting character from Tim Burton's 1999 film Sleepy Hollow. She is a witch and the twin sister of Lady Mary Van Tassel who assists Ichabod Crane in his investigation of the Hessian before her death.
She is portrayed by Miranda Richardson and as a child, she is portrayed by Cassandra Farndale.

Crone Witch is identical looking to her twin sister Lady Van Tassel with the same average height slim figure, well endowed chest, pale skin, blue eyes, pink lips and long wavy platinum blonde hair reaching her hips but wears a torn up white dress which appears dirty and old and wears a dark gray torn up old veil which she covers her face but without the veil her face appears to look rough cut marks on her forehead and lips and looks tired. It’s assumed that she use to be beautiful like her twin sister Lady Van Tassel.
