- Delores is similar to Sally from The Nightmare Before Christmas as both are beautiful undead women with long hair, covered in scars and obsessed with a person they love and are "meant to be" with.
- The only difference between them is Sally is heroic and is genuinely in love with Jack Skellington while be content that her feelings would not be reciprocated, only for Jack to return them with his own feelings towards her.
