The Easter Bunny is a character from The Nightmare Before Christmas and the leader of Easter Town where the holiday of Easter is created and celebrated.

Background[]

Personality[]

While the Easter Bunny doesn't speak, he seems to be a friendly, curious individual. However, when he gets spooked by a resident of Halloween Town, he shrieks and retreats to the sack he was held in by Lock, Shock & Barrel, proving his cowardly nature.

Physical Appearance[]

Role in the film[]

After Jack Skellington tells Lock, Shock, and Barrel to go and kidnap Santa Claus, the trick-or-treaters went off to carry on the task. However, they mistakenly enter the world of Easter Land and capture the Easter Bunny. When they bring the bunny back to Jack, the bunny jumps out of the back, curious of his new surroundings. However, when Behemoth, a Halloween resident, loudly shouts out "BUNNY!", the Easter Bunny shrieks in fear and cowers in the sack he was held in. After Jack tells the trick-or-treaters which door Santa Claus is actually in, he apologizes to the Easter Bunny and orders Lock, Shock & Barrel to take him home and apologize to him once they do so. The Easter Bunny doesn't appear for the rest of the movie, but it can be assumed that Lock, Shock, & Barrel returned him to his home and apologized to him for the misunderstanding.
