After being held in solitary confinement against her will for many years, Francoise regressed and became a rather erratic, unstable, and even emotionally volatile figure to the point where she turned a blind eye to the crimes committed by her resurrected brother, and did not hesitate lash out in anger and slap Tyler once when he got angry with her for becoming his new master. However, her love for Tyler was great enough to where she was willing to sacrifice her own life and chance at a normal life in order to make sure he got the life she wanted and spare him from the pain she went through.

Backstory[]
Francoise Night was born on March 12, 1974 to unknown parents, including a father who was implied to have been physically abusive and to have held a disdain for Normies. Francoise also had a DaVinci brother named Isaac who she had a very close relationship with.
By 1990, Francoise and Isaac were both students at Nevermore Academy. There she was part of the school’s fencing team alongside Morticia Frump, who always treated Francoise with kindness during their time at Nevermore.
During one Fourth of July in her youth, Francoise was caught fraternizing with a Normie boy named Dylan, leading her father to slap her across the face so hard, it caused her to transform into her Hyde for the first time. Believing her Hyde to be a curse due to its negative and feared reputation within the Outcast world, Francoise desperately craved a Normie lifestyle so she could live her life in peace without the harmful and deadly impact that her Hyde transformations would cause her.
Determined to help his sister, Isaac constructed a machine in Iago Tower that was designed to extract an Outcast’s abilities, thus removing the Hyde within Francoise and turning her into a Normie which would save her life. Needing a great amount of energy to power the machine, Isaac requested the assistance of his roommate and close friend Gomez Addams who had the ability to generate static electricity. However, unbeknownst to both Francoise and Gomez, Isaac, who had become cold and merciless in his scientific pursuits, deliberately failed to mention that the machine would drain Gomez of his powers to the point where it would kill him. The experiment attempt to remove Francoise’s Hyde failed due to Morticia’s intervention who cut off Isaac’s hand and caused the machine to override and explode. Francoise along with Gomez and Morticia survived the explosion, but Isaac was killed much to her devastation, and Gomez ended up permanently losing his powers.
At some point after her time at Nevermore, Francoise would meet and fall in love with Donovan Galpin, a Normie from the local town of Jericho who worked with the sheriff’s department. The two would end up getting married. However, Francoise concealed the truth about her Hyde condition from him out of fear of rejection.
Following the birth of their son Tyler, Francoise’s postpartum depression caused her to lose control of her transformations, revealing the truth to Donovan who then constructed a secret shelter beneath the backyard of his house as a refuge for both him and Tyler in case Francoise ever transformed.
In 2010, Francoise would be admitted to Willow Hill Psychiatric Hospital, where she would have her death faked by Dr. Augustus Stonehearst, the chief physician and Isaac’s former mentor from Nevermore, who kept Francoise locked away in secret as part of the LOIS program and forcibly subjugated her to his experiments for many years. The belief of her death deeply affected her husband and son.

Trivia[]
- There is an error where Francoise's Willow Hill file stated that her birthday was 12 March 1974. However, her tombstone in Season 2 has 7 January 1969 as her date of birth. Plus, as Francoise was a student at Nevermore during the early 1990s, meaning her date of birth from her Willow Hill is more likely the correct version.
