Background[]

Personality[]

Garrett was abused by his father and just like his sister, he was raised to hate outcasts.

Despite his hatred of outcasts, Garrett developed an obsessive crush on Morticia Addams, stalking her and trying to woo her.

When learning of Morticia being in love with Gomez, Garrett became overcome with jealousy and along with wanting to please his father, fell in a murderous rage where he attempts to kill Gomez.

Overall, Garrett was a violent man gaslighted into hating outcasts where his obsession with Morticia and making his father proud ultimately led to his death at the hands of the woman he loved who belonged to the type of people he ironically was taught to despise.

Trivia[]

  • Garrett is similar to Jim from Edward Scissorhands. They both were obsessed with a girl they were in love with (Kim Boggs for Jim and Morticia for Garrett) and were stabbed to the death while fighting their rival in a fit of jealously. The only difference is Jim was killed by Edward to protect Kim while Garrett was killed by Morticia to protect Gomez.
