Josephine Bucket is a minor character in Tim Burton's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. She is the wife of Grandpa Joe, mother of Mr. Bucket in the book and Mrs. Bucket in both films, and the paternal grandmother of Charlie Bucket (maternal in both films).
She is portrayed by the late Eileen Essell.
