Miles Millar is an Australian-British screenwriter, showrunner, producer, creator and director. Millar is best known for co-creating TV programs, such as Netflix's Addams Family spin-off series Wednesday directed by Tim Burton. Alongside his writing or producing partner Alfred Gough, Millar and Gough also co-created programs, such as The CW’s long-running Superman prequel television series Smallville, wuxia-influenced AMC series Into the Badlands and the fantasy series The Shannara Chronicles (based on the book trilogy by Terry Brooks).
