Richard Stephen Dreyfuss is an American actor and voice actor, who is best known for starring in numerous film, television, and theater roles since the late 1960s, including his notable roles as Matt Hooper and Roy Neary in Steven Spielberg's films: Jaws and Close Encounters of the Third Kind (respectively) that were both released in the 1970s.
For Disney, he voiced Mr. Centipede in the 1996 live-action/stop-motion film, James and the Giant Peach.
