Richard Griffiths was a English actor of the stage and screen. Griffiths portrayed Magistrate Philipse in Sleepy Hollow. Griffiths also played Vernon Dursley in the Harry Potter films with Alan Rickman, Helena Bonham Carter, Michael Gambon, Timothy Spall, Jamie Campbell Bower, and Harry Taylor.
