Sea Monkeys

The Sea Monkeys are antagonistic monsters from Tim Burton's 2012 animated film Frankenweenie.

They are all voiced by Frank Welker.

Role in the film[]

The Sea Monkeys chase Bob after being reanimated. They later appear from the sewers and a toilet booth, the one where Mayor Burgermeister took cover. Sea Monkeys chase the townsfolk around the Dutch Day carnival. One Sea Monkey eats salt popcorn and explodes(Being viewed by Victor and Bob). They are tricked into eating over salted popcorn, causing them all to explode.

Trivia[]

The Sea Monkeys resembles the Gill-Man from Creature From The Black Lagoon.
They also act out as the Gremlins from Stephen Speilberg's Gremlins. The Sea Monkeys eat junk food, love causing mayhem and can be killed in an exploding method, just like the Gremlins.
