• In the original novel, Veruca is blonde, while in the movies she is brunette. The only adaptions that depict her as bright blonde are the Broadway and West End adaptions.
• Out of the five winners, Veruca was the only kid who didn't actually "find" her golden ticket instead, she got it out of demand rather than luck.
• Veruca was the only kid who wasn't mean to Charlie or interacted with him during the tour of the factory.
