Sally cooked the soup for Dr. Finkelstein and drugged it with Deadly Night Shade so she can sneak out of her creator's house. When Finkelstein smelled Frog's Breath in the soup, he became suspicious and ordered Sally to taste the soup. She knocked the spoon out of his hands and used a slotted spoon in order to trick Finkelstein by pretending to take a taste and enjoy it. Finkelstein managed to fall for Sally's trickery and drank the entire soup from the bowl where he falls asleep, allowing to Sally to escape and participate in a town meeting for all of the citizens of Halloween Town.
